Dry Ice

Extreme cold without residues

Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide that sublimates without leaving liquids, remaining stable at -78.5 °C.

Dryce produces two types of dry ice:

  • Technical Dry Ice
  • Dry Ice E290 Food Additive

Technical dry ice is used where there is no direct contact with food, as a thermoregulation medium in isothermal packaging for frozen products. Available in 2, 9 and 16 mm pellets, 500 g slices and 5 and 10 kg blocks.

E290 dry ice, a certified "food grade" food additive, is produced according to rigorous HACCP standards and can be used in the preparation of food such as minced meat, doughs, oil and wine. Available in 2.9 and 16 mm pellets.
